For the life of me I can't get the widgets functionality to work.
I have SS 3.0.5 installed and working well.
I have the blog module install and working.
But if I try widgets I just cant get it to work.
I've installed the widgets module (ver 0.1 as the master GIT trunk says it's for 3.1), the tables are present in the mySQL db.
But I only get the main contents entry when in admin/pages.
I've uninstalled everything, done it again, done it in different orders.
Whatever I do The Widgets tab is never displayed as per the various examples in the tutorials.
Is there something else I need to do, or am I wrong in assuming that the basic widget functionality should work out of the box, and that I should be able to add widgets that I've downloaded and installed ?

Don't give up! I'm sure they work as I've used them on SS3 as a trial and I have seen others - plus there are modules a plenty.
I would suggest that you start fresh and use composer to ensure that all items are compatible with each other.
If this doesn't' work then you need only post 2/3 lines here to describe the composer install commands to indicate exactly what you have done.
Alternatively do the same but manually including the URLs or the various repos you are using.

Im having a problem with widgets in 3.0.5.
The widgets page shows available widgets, and it says i should click them to add them. But they are not clickable at all. Seems like something is missing.
