Winners at the CMS Expo SilverStripe Awards

As part of the recent CMS Expo in Chicago, we held SilverStripe Awards to celebrate the amazing work being done by our community. We encouraged everyone to enter, and were thrilled that there were nearly sixty entrants for the eight categories.

The awards were judged by a panel independant of SilverStripe Ltd, and were announced at the end of the expo. Awards were given to companies from Europe, the UK, USA, Canada and New Zealand - a good spread around the world.

Without further ado, here's a list of the winners.

Best education website built in SilverStripe CMS:

Valley Performing Arts Centre built by Harlow Technologies Inc and California State Universituy Northridge.

Best commerce website built in SilverStripe CMS:

Best designer of SilverStripe CMS websites:

Best non-profit website built on SilverStripe CMS:

Yestermorrow built by Blue House Group

Best app/module developer within SilverStripe community:

Aaron Carlino (aka "UncleCheese")

Best Enterprise website built in SilverStripe CMS:

Escape Studios (.uk and .com) built by GPMD

Best Social CMS application for SilverStripe CMS:

Swift Community Suite developed by Web Builders Group

Best Small Business Website:

DNA built by DNA Designed Communications 2011.
