Hi everyone,

I've researched this quite a bit, but don't see a clear answer.

We have 200 subsites in this particular project, and each one needs to be restricted to and only see its own asset folder under Files & Images.

I have been looking at SecureFiles, which I'm wondering could be extended to hide non-related directories. Hmm.

Has anyone accomplished this previously?

Thanks!

Hey Wilson,

Re Secure Files, I looked at doing this but I don't believe it is possible without hacking the core of AssetAdmin.

Will have to check on the exact method involved, but have a poke around and you should find the method that generates the folder tree. If you simply hook in a call to canView then you should be able to show/hide based in secure files permissions.
