The templates that come with the modules are just examples. They're not meant to be used on your production site. You should be creating your own, for instance:

/themes/your_theme/templates/Layout/Calendar.ss
/themes/your_theme/templates/Layout/CalendarEvent.ss

Go ahead and create all the translations you like, and send them to me when you're done!

** SOLVED I was using swfuploadfield when I switched over to uploadify everything went swimmingly. I got throw off as in the dataobjectmanager docs it mentioned swfuploadfield. I also went to http://www.leftandmain.com/category/silverstripe-modules/ and grabbed everything from there and re-installed. So maybe there was a change in there as well. Either way its working now.

I have an issue with adding the date with the announcements or new event. I do not get a popup and the fields are read only. I have been all over the forums and found plenty of people with this issue but its for the most part before 2.4.3. I open up in a new tab as suggested in other threads and I get no errors.

I have the following modules installed
DataObjectManager
event calendar
userforms
recaptcha
spam protection
youtube services installed

Any ideas or threads I may have missed?
