Hello.

In installed the last version of the module taken from svn. When i am on the site and I try to upload new pics to a gallery I notice a strange behaviour.

In Firefox i can see the "Choose photos..." button, but not the save button that appears just for a moment when the page loads and then disappear.

In any other browswe (chrome, safari, etc.) I can't see both the "Choose photos" nor the save button.

Did i configured something the wrong way?

Thanks,
Antonio

Hi Antinio,

Make sure you have the latest flash version, I had this problem and updating my flash player fixed it :)

Make sure you don't have any body onload events that might be interfering with it loading.

This is why I'm redoing this module. Way too much interface to try to cram into someone's template.

if you're redoing the entire image gallery module, please consider video as well.
i have code for being able to attach a thumbnail to the movie files if you're interested.
i want to be able to upload a nice h264 quicktime and link to it.

let me know if you want the code at throb -at- throb *dot* net

thanks a bunch

Thanks for that, Rob. Of course, the major rub with video processing server side is that there are requisite tools to be installed on the server (FFMPEG). Most of the time, a hosting provider can do this for you if it's not already in place. Easy to do yourself, too, provided you have a decent host.

yeah i don't even want the video processed. just a straight link.
i don't want to size or change the video in any way.
i'd like to take a discussion further with you off the forum (since there are no PMs)

Hey Uncle Cheese,

Just checking in to see if you're still redoing the module?
