Can anyone explain the correct use of translatable.
I have already looked at the documentation.
But when I apply the:

static $extensions = array(
"Translatable('SectionName')"
);

On any one of my fields. Silverstripe crashes. And I end up with a mess in the db.
Can anyone please help. I have already posted requests prior to this one detailing the whole catastrophe. But to no avail.

Cheers to anyone who has a peek at this.

Hi,
Nope can't say that I have.
But this was so long ago I can barely remember what went wrong.

I ended up approaching the multi-language site a different way.

I don't have any multilingual fields.

As I said I couldn't manage to get the translatable to work.

I created a new site tree for every different language.

I have the site duplicated as different trees stemming from different homepages.

I believe there is another thread on this forum that talks about the translatable in more detail.
