my profile was set up by CJ (due to the GSoC) and Sigurd changed me my password so that now I'm able to log in, but i have no rights to update my profile:

It seems like you're not logged in "properly", as it says "Anon". This is Markus Lanthaler by the way, and I suggested he put this query up here :)
My bad! I think this problem was caused by me when I added you to the SilverStripe community newsletter mailing list. I'll let you know as soon as it has been fixed! Apologies and thanks for your patience!
