i'm wondering if it's possible to give a website user the ability to download a webpage as a pdf file.
i've seen fe. a lot of joomla sites that have these features built in, but didn't look too far into that topic till now.

would be cool to hear any ideas, how to get this...

There is a 'pdfgeneration' module in the subversion repository. Seems to have seen some active development lately by sminnee. Uses java though..
