Hi,

I have installed SS and i have the latest version of the gallery, this is what i did
1-Uploaded the gallery
2-did the db/build/?flush=1
3-did that for the admin area as well
4-I have added a gallery page called test gallery
5-when i direct it to the UPload directory in assets, it views the image but when i direct it to the test-gallery page in the galleries section it does not work...

I event changed the permissions for the folder and still no luck!

Thanks,
Ahmad

Have you made sure you have selected the Uploads folder on the gallery page in the CMS.

When you mean it does not work is there an error? or just nothing shows?

Yes, It works when i select the Upload folder. But when i select a different folder (/asset/galleries) it does not work, it shows the page but it does not render the images

make sure the web user has the correct permissions on that subfolder and they own the folder. In order to make the thumbnails it needs write access to that folder to make the _resampled folder. It could be working for uploads as that might have the correct permissions - that would be my guess.

no i gave 777 permissions, it created a folder corresponding to the name of the photogallery, i then went to that folder and applied 777 permissions again, its not that!
