rendering custom fotns to make graphical menu? possible?

hi. i am doing my first steps into silverstripe. is it possible to have a graphical menu? so basically rendering fonts to generate images as menu? i know this from typo3, the so called gmenu.

theres nothing like gmenu for SilverStripe. You could probably copy the typo3 plugin and adapt it to a SilverStripe module (depending on how the typo3 plugin works) or you could try and use sIFR which is another method of rendering fonts in a webbrowser - http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/sifr/ but its designed for headings rather then navigation options so I wouldnt recommend it
