Hi, I am a beginner in using SilverStripe. I find it very useful and easy until I got stuck in the localizing issue.

I just want my website to be in spanish rather than in default english. I found some strings in the .ss files, others in /lang folder files... I find it everything so spread around, not easy at all.

Could anyone explain an easy, straight-forward way to build my site in my language?

Thanks! (Gracias!)

Hi;

If you are asking about admin panel just click on profile link (near logout button) and set.

If asking about the site itself, I also dont know, also new with SS :)

Ideally all strings should be contained within the lang files eg en_US.php . If you notice some important strings which are not (in the cms, or in modules code / templates) then feel free to submit it as a issue (and if you can a patch file) to open.silverstripe.com
