Hello,

I have just tried to install ss on a webhost (hosteurope.de). Server Requirements are all given, but there is a problem with their database naming. It's only possible to get names with a hyphen, something like db1234567-name. When I type this name into the install form and do "re-check requirements" the hyphen just disappears and I get an error message.

I recognize that this is a problem of the host really, I just thought if there is an easy way round this maybe somebody could tell me - I suppose one would have to change something in the install script so a hyphen gets accepted?

Probably better to look for a different host?

Cheers,
K
