Error: Image type not supported

During my installation, I recieved an error: "Error: Image type not supported"

I've spent a few hours looking for a solution and can't find anything that could be causing it.

Now when I go to my main webpage it displays the error and only the error.

I use Dreamhost.com as my host.

PHP 5.2.2
MySQL 5
Firefox 2.0
Silverstripe 2.0.1
Windows XP (tis my OS, I thought that is what it meant :P)
