hello --

i have been having an issue creating both redirector & 'virtual' pages. When I attempt to access the 'Page on your website' control. I consistently (tried three different web hosts) get an error: 'Error Accessing Data'. See attached.

Anyone know of possible resolutions.

thanks.

( you didn't attach anything )

Please confirm the thing you're doing works on the demo.silverstripe.com site.

Hmm, well when I try this at http://demo.silverstripe.com, I get a different error at a seemingly different place. I'll paste it here for Andrew to check over for the 2.1 release:

Error in Ajax evaluator on line 973: illegal character var newNode = $('sitetree').createTreeNode(17, \"\", \"SiteTree\"); var parentNode = $('sitetree').getTreeNodeByIdx(0); if(parentNode) parentNode.appendTreeNode(newNode); " ( ? "newNode.selectTreeNode(); " : "") ; $('sitetree').setNodeTitle("15", ""); $('Form_EditForm').getPageFromServer(15); $('Form_EditForm').loadActionsFromString(' '); $('Form_EditForm').updateStatus('Saved (new)'); statusMessage('Saved. Status changed to \'Saved (new)\'', 'good');

Sig: I've fixed the bug you were getting, but this is committed to trunk, not 2.1

Hi!

I tried this under 2.1.0 and on the demo site. Both installs show the AJAX Error posted by Sigurd.

Is there any fix for this, or am I doing something wrong?
Would be helpful to just know if the problem isn't resolved atm or if I am searching the wrong places ;)

Yours,
Roman

EDIT: I also found out that when you finally have a virtual page (throgh some workarounds and clicking) it doesnt update its content when the original page is updated.
