Came across Silverstripe just yesterday and fell in love. Today I was trying to install it on my site to see if I'll be able to use it how I want to, but ran into some problems.

My host has both PHP 4 and 5 installed, so I modified the .htaccess file so I'd be using PHP 5.

This is what I got:

I am now running through the installation steps (this should take about 30 seconds)

If you receive a fatal error, refresh this page to continue the installation
# Creating 'mysite/_config.php'...
# Creating '.htaccess' file...
# Building database schema...

Warning: fopen(/tmp/silverstripe-cache/manifest_home_****_public_html_potterisms_sapphire_main.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/****/public_html/potterisms/sapphire/core/ManifestBuilder.php on line 133
Cannot write manifest file! Check permissions of /tmp/silverstripe-cache/manifest_home_****_public_html_potterisms_sapphire_main.php

[****] substituted for username, just to be safe.

I tried checking the permissions of that file, but there's no "silverstripe-cache" folder IN my /tmp/ folder. What's the problem? HELP!
