I've got a simple site search set up as per the tutorial, but I noticed that it only searches the SiteTree and File tables.

I have a page type called RecipePage which has two Content areas. Is there a clean way of extending SearchForm to search these additional fields?

I'm currently overriding the searchEngine function, doing an additional search on the RecipePage table (including the extra field) and adding it to the UNION statement. It's pretty ugly and doesn't work well at the moment because I get duplicates and half of them have no content.

If someone has a better solution I'd be happy to have a go at coding it...

Has anyone had a go at integrating an indexing search engine like mngosearch into SilverStripe?
