Hi there,
Fairly new to SilverStripe 2.4.1 and have been trying REALLY hard to work out but have had no success.

I want to add the addthis toolbox to my blog posts. Have been trying to paste the code in but nothing appears.
Am I missing something?? Can somebody please give me some advice on how to make this happen!

Also I have no idea what dev/run means?

Thank you.

/dev/run? I think you mean /dev/build (or /dev/tasks/run perhaps). /dev/build rebuilds your database structure so you need to call it whenever you alter your data schema. Tutorial 1 covers more information about /dev/build.

As for adding addthis tool I think it'll be more practical to alter the template files than insert that code for every single blog post. See my previous post ( for information on how to add things to blog templates.

You can also checkout the sharethis module which uses similar functionality as addthis so you can copy how that works
