I am not able to find any recent discussion in the forum on using offline blog editors with SilverStripe (e.g.,xml-rpc publishing protocol)? Is it possible? What about the next version of SilverStripe?

Hi Sam,

I don't think this is currently possible or planned for the SS3 upgrade. Would be an interesting addition to the blog module though...

Thanks for your comments. Hmmmmm, I wonder if the Metawebblog enhancement as mention in works with offline Blog editors. I'll have to look into it.

I really like offering my clients a way to easily write and edit there posts and pages offline and publish them when they are online with a simple push of a button--as Windows Live Writer does with Wordpress. Silverstripe's interface is better designed and I would prefer to use it.
