Hi all,
I am looking to develop a few extensions for my companies use. Some of these I would like to keep for our company use only, while others could benefit all of the SS community.
The first thing I need done is this:
Looking for a Module that will allow a SS sight to use amazon's S3 for the assets folder.
Basically, instead of ever uploading and using files on the server of the site, I want it to use amazon's s3 service with a cname (i.e., instead of the url being http://s3.amazon.com/bucketname/file.gif, it would read something like http://media.mydomain.com/file.gif).
I would want direct upload to s3 and not proxy upload, or upload to server then s3. Needs to be able to upload large files like 30+minute .mp3s
Look and behave like regular assets file and folder structure.
Configurable with the standard s3 settings
File permissions is not important at this stage (everything public for now), but in the future to add that functionality.
On the front end, needs to output full url to files in templates...

Please send quotes and rates for project.
A good relationship will lead to much much more projects.
