I have just installed silverstripe on my server and I'm currently in the process of moving content over. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to change the site name and tagline. Where do I need to go to change it?

Welcome to the Forums!

In 2.3 you have to edit the template files in themes/blackcandy/templates/Page.ss.

In 2.4 (currently in rc) you can customize these options in the CMS on the SiteConfig page you should see when you login.

Basic question, but what does the "Site Tagline/Slogan" field actually do?
