Hi,

I've been using the Page Content widget to implement widget like user editable content boxes (eg. left side "Legal Services" and "Service Areas" panels on the Juliana Smith Lawyer Bendigo website; and the 4 boxes/widgets below the content panel of the Vitesse Web Design Bendigo website. I've modified the widget so it can parse shortcodes so it's flexible.

My goal was to make it easy for content editors to modify the content in those boxes should they wish, and yet maintain a sound semantic structure.

How do you go achieving this type of functionality? Do you use the Page Content widget, or something else like it? Or do you add HTML fields in SiteConfig (given a fixed number of these content boxes)? Has your approach changed for SS3?

Interested in hearing about how you go about this.

Thank you.
VWD.
