Permissions issue???

I know that it may seem like this thread is in the wrong place but the issue is only affecting my image gallery (using: swfupload/Image_gallery/dataobject_manager).

I think that this may be an apache issue but am having problems trying to remedy. I really do not understand why though because this is not a new install. It has been working fine for about 5 months - then when I tried to change an element in a gallery I get thrown up with the following.

"You don't have permission to access /admin/EditForm/field/GalleryItems/item/196/edit on this server."

Can anyone shed any light?
