Hi,

The DataObjectManager won't work properly in IE, but works fine in Firefox

I've submitted this to the [url=http://www.silverstripe.org/customising-the-cms/show/264866?showPost=264866]http://www.silverstripe.org/customising-the-cms/show/264866?showPost=264866

I can't attach the screenshot in this forum branch, so just giving a direct link :

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I just checked in IE 6/7 running DOM r212 on SS 2.3.2 and I'm not seeing anything broken. Are you sure you don't have a stylesheet that is conflicting?

Hi,

I think I'm on v1.0 r197 of DOM. (used a download from silverstripe.org website, not a CVS server)

I looked through the CSS , and looks like its not a CSS problem, as the CSS wasn't changed in cms forlder nor in dataobjectmanager, and the only file that is used in CMS from the frontend is typography.css - (i tried putting original typography to the site , but it didnt help).

Just noticed the same problem on completely different site I've done earlier which is on different server, and wasn't tested on IE...

If you'll have any thought - please let me know.

PS - not related to this thread, but maybe you can give me a hint on http://www.silverstripe.org/template-questions/show/254160?start=16 as well ? (my question is at the end of the thread) ?

Thanks

Hi,

Reproducing error on clean install:

1. Have reinstalled 2.3.2 silverstripe,
2. Selected blackcandy as default template,
3. grabbed svn 216 for dataobjectmanager/sfwupload,

Added some Code:
Page.php- http://pastie.org/556176
TagPhrase.php - http://pastie.org/556174

Thats all amendments - nothing where changed else. ,

and got on IE6.0

Looks like the CSS poroblem ?

Will try to reproduce the situation with images bit later - when there are no images displayed .

Uncle cheese- any ideas?

It works fine for me in IE7, as for IE6: http://iedeathmarch.org/

...

Sorry, that wasn't really helpful. Maybe the IE Developer Toolbar might help finding the issue? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IE_Developer_Toolbar
