Hello Uncle Cheese.
I noticed today when using the DataObjectManager that it ignores the initial sorting order set through the object constructor. The first page shows up sorted in that order but when I go to the next page in the DataObjectManager it seems to switch back to the default sort order.

Ah, good catch. Thanks for posting this. Be sure to put all bug reports in the "Bug Reports" sticky. Short of a real bug tracker it's the best thing I have right now to keep track of all the open issues.
