We just released Shop 1.1.0 which is mostly bug fixes and a few small features. Specifically:

* Units for physical measurements are customisable
* Hooks for better ajax support (see markguinn/silverstripe-ajax and markguinn/silverstripe-shop-ajax for one implementation)
* 2 new reports and 3 new dashboard panels
* Order processing emails refactored into OrderEmailNotifier (with some deprecations for 2.0)
* Fixed several issues with checkout
* Code cleanup in several places, most notably CartForm
* Bugs fixed

There are lots of ways you could help including:

* Feedback on documentation (What would make it easier to get off the ground on your first shop site?)
* Writing behat specs (See https://github.com/burnbright/silverstripe-shop/issues/315)
* Translation (Where are we missing support?)
* Contributing towards a baseline theme and/or beautifying ss-shop.org or demo.ss-shop.org
* And of course, we always love pull requests...
