Hi there!

I'm using this module, mainly to sort products, i'm not using it for purchase purposes.
The problem i have, is that i want to paginate the results from a category of products (i.e. compact discs), because the page scrolls to far. I was searching for a solution, but i dind't find any suitable alternative. (i've found a pagination system for SS in general, if that's the solution i would love to see how to implement it for e-commerce)

the example page is here:
http://www.the-music-store.net/compact-discs

as you can see, the list is very long.....

The categories for that page are:

Products > Compact Discs

Any help will be apreciated

it is also possible that you create groups and so then they have a link divided (or grouped) otherwise you will have a control over PHP as you possibly find it in Dreamweaver and then draw them into the product side fit!

This solution would be my suggestions!

Thanks for your reply...

But i'm looking a pagination solution, since the categories will hold so much products and i can't change that...
I'll post this on the main forum to see if anyone else can help....

Thanks

This would be good, but without striping down the code and creating pageinate controller within the module then its a no brainer.
but I agree, this is an issue and would be great to see the Ecommerce module further it self with an update with such features.

Hello!

Does the author/s of this module check this forum?
I would love to see "official" feedback to this issue...

Thank you very much,

Eduardo

i've noted that since the site redesign, the forums aren't so useful, i mean, i don't have replies as i use to have in the past...

Eduardo, sorry, no solution, but a comment: the ecommerce module changed a lot in trunk, so much more code. I assume that the developer focused on continuing the development of ecommerce instead of supporting the stable version.

Your site shows the need for pagination, if it's not there yet, it is urgent to get added. I might look into the (trunk) code in the next weeks for my own sites, let's see.
