I am wanting to filter the first level of objects bound to a TreeDropdownField. Specifically I want to do this for Files/Folders.

I have had a look at the code for TreeDropdownField. From what I can see when the code binds the field it gets a singleton of the object being added and then calls the getChildrenAsUL on the singleton object. From this it seems to retrieve all of the top level objects.

I would like to filter these top level objects somehow. Is this possible? Or can anyone recommend the best way to go about customizing this control so that it can have its first level filtered with a custom query.

Thanks Liam.
