Hi,

I'm using ss v 2.3.2, and after i install forum, it work fine, until i logged in as admin, and try to give a sticky/ready only on a topic, and it gave me ss error here :

Undefined index: NewForum
POST /silverstripe2.3.2/general-discussion/AdminFormFeatures

Line 1705 in \silverstripe2.3.2\forum\code\Forum.php

May i know what caused the error?

And the other is on the search form, it gave me this error :

Undefined variable: RSSLink
GET /silverstripe2.3.2/forums/search/?Search=av

Line 320 in \silverstripe2.3.2\forum\code\ForumHolder.php

Anyone know why is this happening ? I'm using forum v.0.2.2 , is it not compatible with ss 2.3.2

Thx,

Draft

Hi,

I can confirm it with the same 2.3.2. BTW, this has been already reported. I'm filing a bug ticket.

Juan

With the RSSLink - try a daily build. This has been fixed in this.

Hi,

Download and update your Forum module with the latest build. The admin features bugs are gone.

Now, if only someone helped me to make stick the current locale on all pages created by the forum module without having to pass ?locale=xx_XX everywhere… ;)

Best regards,
Juan

Hi juan,

Thx so much for your help, i have try it, and now i don't see any error message anymore :)
But i have some questions, when we search form, what content does it search? If i try it, it seem like search the author name field and title only, the content is not in the search parameter i think(which i think it should search by this). And the search function is a match case i suppose? So if we type only partial, it will not return as the result?

Really appreciate your help..

Regards,

Hi!

Sorry, I cannot help you with Search feature at this moment. I disabled it because I found it buggy and I'm desperately trying to create a forum in a multi-lingual page. As soon as I resolve that issue I'll look on Search.

Juan

Hi juan,

Cool, no problem with that.. Just need to ask you what feature do you mean that you disabled?
Yes, it will be very nice if we have multi language forum :)
Thx for your hard work juan.. Please inform me once you have made some progress :)
