Hey All,

Just something that I have chucked together that may well turn out to be useful for some people here. A fairly straight forward Silverstripe/MySQL backup script that you can run from cron.

The script is nothing exciting but will create a snapshot of the full Silverstripe installation and shove it to a path that you choose. Currently it seems to work for most of the recent distros (No Windows at the moment) and has been mostly tested in Slackware.

The backup its self is a Mysqldump and a tarball of the full SS installation, which can then be restored with an amount of ease.

Any way, its a start that I hope some people get some use out of.

Cheers
Owen
