I have very limited knowledge of PHP.

I seee BlackCandy, BlackCandy_blog and tutorial themes installed by default. How do I switch to blackcandy theme for cms, blog and forums?

2. Is it allowed to remove silverstripe branding (powered by, etc) and if so, where do I make the changes?

TIA

Hi Screenmates

You can change the theme by editing your mysite/_config.php. To set it to blackcandy the line would look like this:

SSViewer::set_theme('Blackcandy');

You can do as you wish with the SS branding, this recipie will help you with that: http://doc.silverstripe.org/doku.php?id=recipes:rebranding-the-cms

I would reccomend you do the beginner tutorials to get a good idea of how SilverStripe works: http://doc.silverstripe.org/doku.php?id=tutorials
