This is probably more of a general PHP question. I have several SilverStripe sites that I really love, but I don't know much about the programming behind them. Our department has several websites used for time cards, project tracking, etc. That information is stored in an oracle database. There's an existing website (Java) that we use to enter/view that data. Would if be possible to build some custom pages and work with that oracle information in my existing SilverStripe sites? I'm sure I could add the Java info into it, but I'm really wanting to learn more PHP and use PHP to interact with the oracle database.

I still want to use mysql to manage the Silverstripe site, but have silverstipe connect and interact with the oracle data too. Is this feasible?

Thanks for any assistance,
Brian
