IE 8 and SS

I just started noticing some very strange behavior with SS and not sure the cause. I, for the most part use IE8 and I have been having some very erratic behavior with SS. So I started testing in FF and it performs as expected.

Is anyone else noticing/having problems with IE8 and SS or is it just my install?
