I've just installed SS and am now getting 500 Server Error on a subdirectory/subdomain.

Removing the .htaccess file stops the error, but I'm guessing it is required long term...

I am also guessing that I get the error due to directory permissions.

SO...
Can anybody tell me how to allow a directory in the .htaccess file?

Any help is really appreciated,

Thanks.

FYI "500 server error" is not the real error, please read the faq for debugging methods to determine the *real* error...
