redirecting to mydomain.com/?locale=en_US

I have 3 language, en(defualt), jp and zh pages for my site.

I also edit .htaccess (mod_rewrite) file so that language URL look nicer
ex)
mydomain.com/en/somehting
mydomain.com/jp/anything

When I enter URL "mydomain.com/en/home" or "mydomain.com/en/"
it redirect to "mydomain.com/?locale=en_US"

why it it redirect to this URL? I don't want to show this section "?locale=en_US/"
to user.
