Hi all,

When I select a image folder in mceEditor, i get a 500 Server error "Error Getting Files". I tried all the solutions in this post http://www.silverstripe.org/general-questions/show/9140?start=16 but nothing worked out. Is there a fix for this in Silverstripe 2.4.5?

Hmm I see it happens only with PNG files and folders wherein a PNG file is situated.

I didn't find a solution yet. It happens even when I upload a PNG image to "Files and Images". jpg or gif gives no problem. :(

This is probably overly simplistic, but are you trying to upload the same png file? Is it corrupt? Is it larger than your max upload size?

No I tried different png's, even png's with a size of just 10kb.

My client is using PHP 5.3.5. I read about the fact that Silverstripe is not compatible with this version of PHP? Maybe this is the problem? Anybody who's having the same problem?

I can confirm no issues with these versions of PHP. Note they are all built by deb on Ubuntu:
PHP 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.9 (32 bit) with SS version 2.4.5
PHP 5.3.5-1ubuntu7.2 (32 bit) with SS version 2.4.6
PHP 5.3.6-13ubuntu3.2 (64 bit) with SS version 2.4.6

I upgraded SS to version 2.4.6, but the error is still alive.

My Firebug gives this error:

"NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error - http://www.*website*.eu/admin/EditorToolbar/ImageForm?action_callfieldmethod=1&fieldName=FolderImages&ajax=1&methodName=getimages&folderID=1
&searchText=undefined&cacheKillerDate=1323680264092&cacheKillerRand=5415"

I badly want to say this is a permissions issue, but the truly puzzling part of this is that you can upload a jpg or gif image.

At this point I'd look at the server. Make sure you have proper png support. Is gd v. 2 installed and is png support turned on?
