Hi there,

A quick question, has anyone had to encrypt data in a SilverStripe system and how did you go about it?

I may need to encrypt some personal information about users of a system and I'm just wondering if any has had to do this before and if there is a best practice for this sort of thing. the idea is to protect the data at rest currently.

Regards

Mick

I'm also looking around for information about this.

My current thoughts are encrypting at the database level, but we also need to work out how to setup an encrypted connection to the MySQL database.
