Q02 Redirector external link & problem

Hello,

I am just a front end content editor so you will have to excuse me if i'm a bit of a noob.

I need to set up a redirect to an external site but the url for the external site includes an '&' as it needs to pass a variable. However, when the url is redirected the '&' is parsed as '&' and the link breaks.

I have tried encoding it to %26 but then the redirect won't work at all?

The template name in my version of Silverstripe is Q02 Redirector. Not sure what version of Silverstripe it is but the following code is at the bottom: 12-1-2.11-2012-04-20_09-54-22

Please help as my PR team have already put the redirect URL on all of their marketing literature!
