Hello all,
does someone know if there will be a new newsletter module for silverstripe 3?
Or maybe it could be easy to create one myself.
Basically I just have to manage 300 recipients. Then a field for the actual newsletter content. And a trigger to send the mails. and a smtp server...

I don't think anything is planned unless somebody unassociated with SS is going to do one.
But why not use something like mailchimp.com since it's free for up to 2000 users? There is even a few mailchimp modules that integrate with SS though I don't know if they work with SS3.

thank you, I think I´m going to use mailchimp or newsletter2go (https://www.newsletter2go.de/de) - I would prefer the user data to end up on german servers :)
but both systems offer an API which seems to be easy to integrate in CMS Systems or other Sites. I will check it out.
