Hi,

Really weird one this and I'm sure this is just my newbness.

I've been building a site on my web hosting server and access it via an IP address until my client decided what domain they wanted. They've now registered this domain and pointed it to my server's IP (sems to resolve fine), but the site just throws 404s no matter what page I access (root or sub-page).

Is there some configuration change I need to make now I want to access through a domain. I took at look at the _config.php, but there's nothing very interesting in there.

Thanks for any help! It's driving me nuts.

Are you getting silverstripe 404 pages, or actual server 'no page found' pages?

The other place to look is you .htaccess file.

You, sir, are a life saver!

Bang on. It was the .htaccess, which was set to /~clientname. Reset it to / and it works a treat.

Thanks!
