I have two questions regarding comments:
1) In a site with comment not enabled I have more than 2800 comments (spam) within four weeks. In the "Page" headed column for every comment is "Saltaire Homepage Maintenance" (Saltaire is the site name). How do these get posted / how do I get rid of it?
2) How do I delete them? There seems to be no way to delete all these messages, and I'm certainly not going to delete them (or mark them as spam) post by post.

Cheers, Mathias

I have no idea why you have comments when you have then turned off (they are probably hitting a url and calling the addcomment method directly but as for editing and deleting comments you can moderate them in the 'Comments' tab in the cms (top bar). If you keep getting spammed then you may want to add MathSpamProtection to it as this will prevent people hitting the url constantly.

You can turn MathSpam on by adding this to your _config.php
