Hi there,

I want to use SilverStripe in a professional context on a site with about 20 categories and 3000 already existing articles.
I just imported the 3000 articles, and everything works brilliant in the frontend.
But I got serious performance issues in the Backend. Firstly the HTTP server needs about 200MB of RAM, and secondly the client side javascript is also very slow.
Overall the page needs about three minutes to load. <-- i tried the code snippet on page four, but it seems outdated and i couldn't save the limitation on the Behaviour tab.

Are there any solutions out there for this problem yet?
Or is there an archiving mechanism already implemented so that only the latest few posts are shown?

Thank you very much in advance,

We do not wanted to modify the core of Silverstripe, so we fixed the performance issues by switching back to WordPress.
