I can also recommend Hosting Direct, I use them for SS sites and yeah its great.

They reply fairly quickly. They have had a few issues with uptime in the last few months, but this is due to a hardware upgrade, which is done now.

I am on the 6 buck a month plan, and host my own site plus another one, with heaps of room left....

I'm using http://flexihostings.co.nz/ they're pretty cheap and have a wide range of packages. I'm currently hosting two SS site through them. They have great a great support service.

I can also recommend Hosting Direct. I have the starter package and installed SilverStripe without any troubles.

I also use Hosting Direct, and it runs the sites fine. As somebody else mentioned, there were uptime issues for a while, but it's been fine for the last 2 months or so. I've dealt with Hosting Direct since 2006 when they were free hosting providers, and have always found them good to deal with, and have always had the most space for the lowest price for NZ based hosting.

Very affordable, runs SS fine, free domain included at £2.29 per month! never found anyone else for this price with PHP5 and MySQL!
