Hi:
Also note if you using Windows , you should not have a space in the folders names Like localhost/MyProjects/SS3/Project2 .. any space is folder name = space in the URl which does not work .

It sounds like this issue is happening because index.php is being used in favour of the RewriteRule.

If that's the case, deleting index.php should fix things. Index.php is only there for situations where mod_rewrite is disabled, and ordinarily it's ignored by any server that has mod_rewrite enabled.
