Simply get the files in a sub-folder on your webroot named "blog" (all SilverStripe modules are sub-folders, you don't need to put them anywhere special).

You could also use composer http://doc.silverstripe.org/framework/en/installation/composer

Hi camfindlay

  • I copied silverstripe-blog-master.zip to the root folder and unzipped there
  • Then ran path-to-site/dev/build?flush=all
(Working with Wamp so the path was http://localhost/silverstripe2/)

Found the solution at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9942621/how-to-install-and-use-modules-in-silver-stripe
