Yup,
same here. Have wasted almost the whole day now. Can anyone with WinXP/IIS success post a note?
Windows XP Pro SP3
IIS 5.1
PHP 5.2
MySQL 5.1
PHP ISAPI filter installed in IIS
Document extension installed in IIS
Unpacked latest silver archive to inetpub\wwroot\silverstripe (a virtual directory)
Document files extended to include index.php
IIS restarted ok
Browse to http://localhost:80/silverstripe = a nice white, empty page.
Checked PHP installed by <?php phpinfo(); ?> = OK
No errors in event viewer
Trace of IIS:
#Software: Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.1
#Version: 1.0
#Date: 2009-04-21 10:33:35
#Fields: time c-ip cs-method cs-uri-stem sc-status
10:33:35 127.0.0.1 GET /silverstripe/ 302
10:33:35 127.0.0.1 GET /silverstripe/index.php 500
So the temp redirect by IIS to default start page index.php is ok.
Index.php causes the ever helpful error 500 (server error).
Telnet localhost 80
GET /silverstripe/index.php HTTP/1.1
returns page cannot be found
