Hi,

I'm trying to use SilverStripe on Ubuntu. I've some sites developping on Windows XP, there are work fine. I've just copy the entire directories on /var/www/my_ss_site (change RewriteBase .htaccess dans config file)

I've only the directory structure and files, not the site in action. So, I've install succefully a new site. It's work fine, but an error occured with "friendly urls".

The .htaccess files ares indentical.

I don't understand why.

Thanks
Fabrice

I've the solution.... in fact, i don't understand why the directories appears instead of the site. But I try a re-installation, and, oupsss... another error... due to the silverstripe_cache directory then you need to delete.
It's not over :), the names of tables must be the same.. with capital letters.

Another question, why the url appears like that : /www/index.php/contact/ and not /www/contact ???

bye,
Fabrice
