Showing the last time the site was updated

I know its possible to display the last time a specific page was updated,

$LastEdited

But is there a similar way to show when the site as a whole was last updated, i.e:

$SiteLastEdited ??

Sorry not that I know of... of course you could write a function for page controller doing something like...

SELECT Max(LastEditted) FROM SiteTreeL_live
