I'm redesigning one of my sites and upgrading it to 2.4.0 as part of the process. At the request of the site author, I plan to switch the blog from bbcode to wysiwyg editing.

The blog has been going for three years so there are a fair few existing entries, all entered in bbcode. Just enabling wysiwyg editing shows all the codes in these old entries. Neither of us is keen to convert them by hand so we are looking for alternatives.

One option is to export the relevant entries in the SiteTree table, then attack them with multiple GREP search and replaces (using BBEdit) but before I do that, I thought I'd see if there were other ways to solve the problem.

cheers
