Innovation Week November 2023

November brings us another Innovation Week! What will come from the Project Ideas in our 5th Innovation event!?

Usually at this time of the year, we like to bring everyone together for a company-wide event called StripeFest, and since Innovation Week has coincided with StripeFest, so this Innovation Week will be a festive one!

Stripefest is an event where we come together to promote creativity, collaboration, and focus on the results and outcomes we deliver to our customers. So it only made sense to include innovation into the mix!

Why innovation?

At Silverstripe, we’re keen to make the best digital experiences for our customers and generally make the world (at least the digital one) as good as we can. While we build this into our everyday work by living our values of care, curiosity, and collaboration, we also need to grow from these foundations through innovation. 

Innovating with Innovation Week

While we innovate all the time to solve complex problems and meet customer needs, Innovation Week gives us a chance to spend three solid days working on exciting new ideas. While in the past we have worked through any and all projects that catch our interest, this time we’re trying something different - Innovation Prompts. These prompts are specifically created to address some of the key challenges facing both Silverstripe and the wider digital landscape. 

Change is the only constant

While a cliche for sure, this is absolutely true and Innovation Week allows us at Silverstripe to move with the change. We’re involved in a constant journey to improvement, evolution, and fundamental disruption that allows us to add meaningful value to our customers and the context in which we exist. Each time we do Innovation Week we move the needle towards better outcomes and cooler ideas becoming reality.
