Another great and informative SilverStripe core committers Google Hangout including a community Q&A. We broadcast these live sessions live to the community every second month and capture them for people to rewatch later or for those that missed it. 

Agenda discussed:

  1. Deprecation in minor releases causing downstream issues (lots of broken module builds and module releases specific for 3.2). Who owns fixing, how strict are we on deprecation in minor releases?

  2. Update on core-contributor involvement in security release processes.

  3. RFC-2 Error page simplification 

  4. Core roadmap

  5. Community Q&A - From the Q&A section in hangout and IRC
